The future is now....

Events in life that shape us and determine our future path in life are invaluable but sometimes go unappreciated in our day-to-day life. We are constantly on the go, almost never relaxed. And what for? A bigger car? Nice house? More money? None of that can go with us in death, but we still strive in our life to get these meaningless items. I am not a hippy, but I am not opposed to the annihilation of human accumulation of 'STUFF'. I have decided not to even contemplate what next week might bring. I live in the moment and the moment is now. This statement on my part is bold, as I pride myself in predicting tomorrow better than anyone else around me does.

Unto some pleasantries. Yesterday was Independence Day, it has no impact on me, except of the not going to work thing, sides it was on a Tuesday. However, I spent it with the girlfriend, at her place, watching the fireworks. It was all that spectacular, but it was made special because I was with her. We had a moment that made me realize, keeping what we have is more precious that what we can be. Hence my rant about the future. Fuck the future and hat it has to offer in all our lives.
